Eraser 5.8.7 upgrade to Eraser 6?

I did not found any information about my question.

Eraser 6 brougt new technology.... (.NET 3.5 needed...).
That's no problem for me.

But: Will it be able to upgrade from 5.8.7 or is it necessary to uninstall the "old" Version 5 :?:

Yes, uninstall version 5 from the Programs and Features control panel applet (or Add/Remove Programs if you're still using XP)
