I ran Eraser 3 times and changed the erase settings each time to see if I get better results and it still didn't completely erase unused space on my C: drive. On the last try, I went into msconfig, turned off services and startup items and rebooted so that I am running with as few programs running as possible. I started with over 23K files in unused space and I still have over 10K.
