Eraser running on taskbar

Hi,

I would like to express my disenchantment with the Eraser scheduler app. The older versions only had Explorer extensions but the new version has this seperate Eraser Scheduler app which runs all the time. I don't want any more apps to run in the background. Could you change it so people can only run the Explorer extensions, without having to run the Scheduler?
 
Please look at the FAQ, where you will find reasons why Eraser 6 is as it is, and information on the plans to change it to be (from the user perspective) more like Eraser 5. Also, while we have all been conditioned to treat background processes as the ultimate evil, I have yet to experience any performance issues arising from the background running of Eraser on my machines.
