Eraser is a very good Trojan-Hunter while erasing with 1 PASS Unused Disk Space and going over the Cluster Tips of folders and files. Many Trojans are quitely embedded deep within the HardDrive & some times it will activate some of these peskys accidentally --- while overwriting and activating them & the RealTime Anti-virus scanner will nab them...

My Eraser has recently nabbed--- Trojan-PSW:W32/OnlineGames--- the 5th trojan since installing Eraser 3 years ago...
 
This is possible when eraser is filling up the empty disk space - however it has never been reported until now.

The cause is eraser accidentally generating the correct signature of a virus while it fills the disk space with random data.
