Eraser won't run after install

New Member
Eraser 5.87beta won't run after install. I have .net installed and it installs the visual c++ 2005 program but it refueses to run says it was't installed right I have even disabled Kaspersky Internet security 2009???

Any help would be great?
 
Can you quote the EXACT error message?

"The Application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem".

It doesn't tried three times. This happened after I reinstalled XP hdd crashed.
 
I've tried it on a virgin install of Vista Ultimate. What OS are you using?

Hmm I've just tried running the setup on Windows XP SP2; it works perfectly fine. Could you try installing the .NET framework and let me know?
