Error: Eraser has stopped working

I have been unable to run Eraser lately. I am not sure when this started - in the last few weeks probably. I have uninstalled and reinstalled ( ).

I get "Eraser has stopped working" after I launch it.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

Clicking "Debug the Program" doesn't seem to do anything.


You mentioned that this has started a week ago, have you made any modifications so far? Like may a security software installation or anything?

Try running a system restore, this is my favorite. Set to to one week back.
Or, just delete the Eraser Task List. There's an FAQ entry for that.
