I constantly get error messages stating,

How can I fix this?

If you haven't done so, upgrade to version 6.0.8; as noted elsewhere on the forum, it is usually best to uninstall 6.0.7 first. This is in case the bug fixes in 6.0.8 relate to your problem.

Unremoveable items in the Recycle Bin can be a real bugbear; it is an issue of Windows permissions rather than Eraser as such. The first option is to try running Eraser as Administrator; there is guidance on this in the FAQ topic on getting to know Eraser 6. If that fails, emptying the Recycle Bin and (then or later, as you choose) erasing free space can work, as can running Recuva to find the deleted file and using the option in Recuva to overwrite the file (not as secure as Eraser, but a great deal better than nothing). Of course, if the file is not sensitive in itself, just emptying the Recycle Bin may be enough to prevent errors being triggered on the next Eraser run.
