Not yet. I'm thinking about replacing the RAID drivers with software for USB and Firewire devices.

Raid controllers

I've seen you mention support for hardware raid before but I'm unsure how this program operate on a single drive when the hardware raids I have seen present to the host computer all the drives as one logical volume. The raid cabinets I've dealt with have control panels to configure and initialize the volume groups.

I wasn't asking you to add support for USB or firewire, although I wouldn't object to support being there. I was just asking before I went looking for external cabinets to support IDE drives.

It depends on the controller, some expose individual disks, like some Adaptec controllers that allow you to toggle Hostraid mode.

At the moment, USB and IEE1394 drivers won't fit onto the floppy, so I'll have to swap something or use the DMF floppy format.
