First/last 16kb erasure - how to change passes?

Is there a way to change the number and type of erase passes using this method? So, for example, I would prefer to use guttman (35 passes) on the first/last 16kb, is there a way to selct this?

Also why don't you give a user selected option to allow the first/last 'x' kb of space to be wiped, why restrict it to 16kb?
 
Since you are mentioning FL16KB I'm assuming you're using v6. Go to the Settings dialog, scroll down to the plugins list box and right click the Default Erasure Methods and PRNGs entry. Click on Settings and select the method to be used for the First/last 16KB Erasure.
