i am looking at using DBAN to wipe multiple hard drives simultaneously.
Under controlled circustances it ran perfectly every time. I am trying to run it now, however, using 6 hard drives that we are donating, and it is slowing down drastically.
I am running 2 batches of 6, and the first batch slowed down temporarily, then found a failed drive and resumed wiping at normal speed.
The second batch, however, has been slowing down progressively and has, as of now, not failed a drive.
My question is:
a. is there a way, other than running the program in "verbose" mode, to tell which drive, specifically, is causing the slowdown, and
b. for any future releases, will there be a way to possibly see more information on individual drives (like if one is causing a slowdown or about to fail)
Thank you
