How do you reformat with Eraser and reinstall windows again?

I have the windows 98 SE instalation disk, but I want to erase ALL my physical data on the C drive, can someone tell me a step-by-step detail on how to do it? Im kind of crappy when it comes to computer knowledge... Thanks in advanced!
 
Easiest way is to go here, http://dban.sourceforge.net/ and d/l either the boot floppy or boot cd version.

Restart your machine and Dban will run automatically, as long as you have your machine set to boot from either floppy or CD (you need to alter your bios settings if it isn't set to).

Follow the prompts along the bottom of the screen once Dban has started.
