When I attempt to run Eraser I get the error message 'Erasing the space of a drive requires elevation'. Then there is another message saying 'don't know why' Eraser failed. Can anybody else tell me why it failed? I never had difficulty using Eraser with my previous PC on XP. Thank you.

Turn off UAC in Vista.

Can you tell me how to turn off UAC in Vista?If it is too involved I'll try to find out some other way. Thanks.
