Installing on usb flash drive?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had any sucess in installing DBAN onto a USB flash drive.
I tried copying he contents of the iso file onto the drive, but this doesnt work. (by the way i have set USB-HDD for first boot device)
Ive also tried making the drive into a win98 startup disk with sucess as it booted.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've looked into the FAQ mentioned above, and the whole process seems really difficult and annoying, not to mention the fact that it requires DOS. Is there any easy/normal way to make a bootable USB drive in Windows?
