Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to delete the unused free disk space with ERASE in only one folder or directory?
I do not want to run it on my whole disk drive. Some of the postings scare me on that one.
Suppose I wanted to delete folder files previously erased in a folder named stocks, banking, security, or buffer. Can I do this with some trick on only one folder?
I know how sector and cluster pointers work. Ditto on the directory table of file names. I use Win95 and FAT 32.
I know how to delete the previously deleted file names in the directroy table or folder table that contain the file names. That's not what I am asking here.
Thanks in advance.
Paul
