Manual Method to Import MSG to Thunderbird – Does It Work?

You can try to import MSG to Thunderbird by renaming them to EML and then dragging them into a Thunderbird folder. But this doesn’t always work well:

• Formatting may break.
• Attachments might be missing.
• Some files won’t open at all.

A safer and more accurate way is to use a tool like Advik MSG Converter and then import EML files into Thunderbird.
