If DBAN were to be used to wipe a hard disc that was using XP pro in NTFS. Could XP then be reloaded using FAT32?

Also is there any way to convert back to FAT32 without resorting to data wiping. Sorry if this is not a DBAN question but you guys seem to know a lot.

If you wipe your harddisk, all partitions and filesystems will be gone. You can reinstall XP and choose FAT32 as filesystem.

If you want to convert your existing NTFS to FAT32 you better use a diskutility like PartitionMagic to do the job. Just be sure that you use an updated version of the diskutility that can read the version of NTFS that you have on your XP (like PartitionMagic 8).
