Problems installing 6.0.7.1893 on windows 7

I installed Eraser on Windows 7 recently. It installed ok, although the right click short-cuts didn't seem to work. I deleted it when I returned the computer to the store as the seller might have to be exchanged. returned to me, I've tried to re-install and whenever i start the computer or try to start Eraser it comes up with an error message saying 'eraser has stopped working. windows is trying to solve the problem.' Any suggestions? Edward

Yes. Although this thread may not describe your precise problem, it could very well describe the solution. As you have several potential issues, I suggest that you remove the existing installation as fully as possible before attempting to reinstall.
