Questions regarding usage of DBAN

Hi,

I was curious about a few things.

1. If I use the cd version, will the cd spin all the time (ruining the drive) ?
2. How long (approximately) will 160 GB take ?
3. Which method is best? DoD or Gutman ?
4. What happens if there is a power outage ?
Will it restart where it stopped, or will I have to do the
entire process again ?

No.

The wipe does not resume, so you must start it again.
