quickest way to destroy the hard drive

:?: Can someone help. I want to delete a hard drive but is DBAN the quickest tool to use?, The hard drive is 20GB and it isn't important to me to have several passes, i am pretty sure one pass will do the damage wont it ?
Also:
Can the proccess be stopped once started?

Start DBAN and choose the "Quick Erase" method, which runs only one pass.

DBAN is likely to be the fastest program because it uses DMA.
