(I have just downloaded and installed Eraser. I'm running Windows 7 IE8 as an administrator.) I had, I thought, one simple jpeg in my recycle bin. I'm simultaneously cleaning empty space on an external drive (35 pass Gutman) and was deleting the jpeg in the bin using the simple 1 pass pseudorandom option. Instead of the .jpeg I was getting a LOT of stuff scanned and erased that I could not see in the bin. I don't know what is being erased so I stopped the recycle bin erasing. Anybody know what was happening? Is that centuries old trash being gleaned and erased? Thanks in advance!
