Hi...

Can anyone answer me if I need to leave the floppy/CD on the drive while DBAN is running? Or can I remove it after it loads??

One more thing... how much time (approximately) would the quick method take on a modern CPU based system (P4 2.53GHz, ASUS MB etc)?? Any ideas?

Yes, you can remove the boot media after DBAN starts and use it in another computer.
