Hello,

could it be, that DBAN doesn't support SATA-II hdds at the moment?

Thanks for an answer!

SAMSUNG SP2004C (IDE SATA-II)

It seems, that DBAN doesn't detect it. After I boot with DBAN and want to start a whipe operation or to start in interactive mode it shows me the standard error message in this black screen. Something about bad sectores...but my hdd is new and works fine!

DBAN probably doesn't have a driver for your motherboard chipset. Use another product, or wait for the DBAN beta release.
