I currently have WIN95 and am about to use DBAN. Would it be possible for me to buy a new copy of WIN98 and just use that when DBAN is finished instead of using a 95 recorvery/boot disk?

Yes.

Note that 'upgrade' versions of Windows 98 might require the Windows 95 installation media and/or require a working copy of Windows 95 on the disk. Try to get the full 'retail' version of Windows 98 if you have the choice.
