suppressing email

I would like to know if when I suppress a email received or send (for example with Outlook), the content of this email is completely erase from my computer and cannot be retreive by any mean.

With Outlook it's never safe to assume anything. They store everything in a database and we don't have access to it -- it may be lurking somewhere that is out of sight so there really is no guarantee, unfortunately, unless you destroy and recreate the Outlook database from scratch and run a Free Space Erase in the interim.
