Hi!

What does it mean: "Task complited. All data could not be erased"?
So, complited or not? Erased or not? :?:

Greg

In most cases with windows if a file is in use, or you do not have proper permissions, the file cant be erased.

Eraser 5.7 Task completed. All data could not be erased.

I've just installed Eraser 5.7. Then use notepad to create a test file. Quit Notepad. Erase file. Eraser said, "Task completed. All data could not be erased" and "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." So I use Sysinternals Handle.exe to find out who. But no handle found! Back in Windows Explorer. Delete to Recycle Bin. Success! Same problem with other files. Also tried disabling antivirus (F-Secure) but same problem.

I am using Windows XP Home Edition SP2 and NTFS.
