Unable to install Eraser on Microsoft Windows 2000 machine

Hi,
I have a IBM xSeries 345 server with 2 GB RAM running Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4. I want to secure delete some of the folders using the Eraser software. I downloaded and extracted the Eraser57Setup.zip file on the machine. But when I try to install the software using the executable, nothing happens. I double click on the exe file and no install window comes up. Is there some pre-requisite on Windows 2000 that I am missing? I would be very grateful if someone could help me debug why I am unable to install Eraser on my machine. Thanks a lot.

5.7 is quite old, give 5.86a a try and then report back if you still have problems

Thanks a lot! I used 5.86a and the install went through without any issues. The reason I was using 5.7 was because I thought that was the last stable release version. Thanks again for your help.
