What gets logged?

We are thinking of using DBAN, but need to save the serial numbers of drives being wiped. Does this information go into the log file? Does this information get displayed on screen? How do I get access to the log file once it is written?

It is there, but it is not easy to access. (It is encoded as a proc file.)

This feature is on the TODO list.
