Will it work on a RAID5 drive?

I have to erase data on a 800GB, 4-disk RAID5 volume. The volume is made up using a Dell PERC 6i card and the volume act as one, formatted with non-encrypted Windows 2000 NTFS partition.

Is the software prepared to work on it?

Yeah, Eraser is hardware agnostic. Unless the RAID controller does weird things to the data the erasure should be as per a single drive. Your parity drive will contain the parity information of your data still which kinda gives it away that it was deliberate overwriting but apart from that it should be fine. Then again, it really depends on your threat model.
