won't erase

hi can anyone tell me how to erase a file that comes up with failed access denied thanks

Looks like the file is being locked by another process. The file will have to unlocked.

Doesn't erase

Using an older version (don't know if this was fixed in later versions) a single file often won't erase. If another file is copied to the same directory and then both selected, they will erase. An easy work around.

I've found that only happens with really small files like in the users recent folder. Running eraserl from a batch file usually does the trick.
