Yes, a global option would be fine but no, not to shutdown the machine but to close eraser process that keeps on tray (this was default behaviour for v5 i believe) after all queued tasks are executed. Thanks

Hi friends, I have just updated to version 6.x however unlike previous versions, Eraser keeps on tray when task is finished so i have to close it manually. Is it possible to implement simple checkmark (or similar) to "close when done"? Thanks

That's quite strange davidm. :shock: I have 32-bit Premium SP1 fully patched, w/UAC disabled and I can do everything I used to do in XP with Eraser. Currently I have 5.86. Did you install with UAC enabled ? Unless that is something specific of Ultimate which I doubt, folder redirection might be...

Hello, I've been erasing unused C:\ space - NTFS, UAC disabled - and after erasing with 1 pass pseudoram data, Recuva is listing 65,000 file with 0 bytes, e.g. more 4,000 files than before. Is this normal, does it have to do with MFT not being processed, why does Recuva list even more files...
