    not partition level but drive level dban will wipe everything from every drive you point to. If you use it on on your C: drive, you won't need to worry about where IE is hiding cookie files. You might consider "Eraser" for file removal.

    Promise support in place The problem I was having with the Promise TX2 cards was actually a mis-wired removable drive bay. I don't know the mfg date, but the latest DBAN works fine with the TX2 cards I have. Thanks --David Perry

    Rawrite for block copy You don't copy the unzipped contents to a floppy. Use the rawrtie utility to write the file "dban_1_0_2_i386.img" to a floppy. It is a raw block transfer similar to how an ISO file is used to make a cdrom.
