    How do I set up a scheduled task to erase unused disk space. Setting it up in Eraser using its in-built scheduler causes the task to fail with permission errors because Eraser doesn't escalate it's privileges. Is there a way of scheduling it within Windows itself using a command line? But...

    When right clicking the drive and selecting properties in Windows Explorer it claims to be NTFS. Apparently the SAN we are using is made by NetApp. http://www.netapp.com/us/products/protocols/san/san.html Mark.

    Using Eraser 6.0.7.1893 I attempted to erase a file on our network and got the message "The file system on the drive x: is not supported" where x: is the network share letter in question. The network share is a SAN (Storage Area Network). It used to work under 5.8.8 - or at least it appeared...

    I uninstalled it. Deleted the directory under Application Data and that for Eraser 5.8.8 too. In the registry I deleted the entries for Eraser and those from 5.8.8 too - both under HKCU\Software. I then re-installed and tried again. Same error. So I have re-traced my steps and I have found...
