How do I set up a scheduled task to erase unused disk space. Setting it up in Eraser using its in-built scheduler causes the task to fail with permission errors because Eraser doesn't escalate it's privileges.
Is there a way of scheduling it within Windows itself using a command line? But...
Using Eraser 6.0.7.1893 I attempted to erase a file on our network and got the message "The file system on the drive x: is not supported" where x: is the network share letter in question.
The network share is a SAN (Storage Area Network). It used to work under 5.8.8 - or at least it appeared...
