Win 7 - 256GB SSD

I have a Dell tablet running Win 7 64-bit with a 256GB SSD. I have searched for "solid state", SSD, etc. in the forums and can't find a definitive answer as to whether or not I can/should run Eraser to wipe my free space.

Note that I am not asking about longevity of the disk, performance, etc. I simply need to know if I can wipe the free space with Eraser safely.

Thanks!

I think you're looking for http://bbs.heidi.ie/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1568. It's for USB keys, but those were the predecessors of SSDs anyway, so most of the information is relevant.

Most cases, using your disk's TRIM command should render data irrecoverable -- but don't just take my word for it, I don't write papers :p
